Professional Training Program: By Audition Only

Train with students from around the world in Canada’s gorgeous Pacific Northwest. 

A three week, full day, intensive program for students interested in taking their ballet technique even further. Led by VAB’s internationally experienced and award winning faculty, classes are offered in ballet, pointe, repertoire, contemporary, pas de deux, and strength/conditioning. Entry into the PTP Intensive is by audition only. 

Homestay Accommodations for out-of-town students offered.

International students welcome. Students visit the Summer Intensive from Japan, Mexico, USA, Britain and France, and many decide to stay and train for the year!

Sample Day:

 9:30-11:00 Ballet class

11:15-12:15 Classical variations or male virtuosity/floor barre (younger students)

 1:15-2:30 Classical repertoire

2:45-4:15 Contemporary

 4:30-5:30 Pas De Deux* for selected older students

**Students staying for a full year program will have an additional week of training to August 24th (please inquire for fees for this additional week).

***Summer Intensive program for Bridge Post-Secondary students is already included in the annual tuition for the year.

Acceptance to the program is by Audition. Please find audition DVD submission info here. Once a DVD is submitted we will then be in contact with you to arrange registration. VAB will be holding auditions in January 2018 in select cities in Mexico and Japan. Please contact us for more information.
